Sawubona Joburg!

This fall 2022 semester, I am on sabbatical, meaning that I do not have to teach courses until January of 2023. At the same time, I have been awarded a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship which means I am currently at the University of Johannesburg. I am excited to be here to collaborate with new colleagues and learn about Learning Technologies in the South African context. I am being hosted by Prof Umesh Ramnarain, an expert in Science Education with a research focus on inquiry-based learning. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be writing about my experiences and sharing pictures of my travel….well…that’s the goal anyway.
